Abstract:	Background: Multiple role theory has proven effective in predicting variations in health, and a growing body of research has shown the importance of taking women's roles into ac- count when analyzing physical activity levels. Nonetheless, re-searchers have yet to characterize the interaction between the various roles played by women and their physical activity.
