Abstract:	Cooperative Learning (CL), underlying its theoretical framework, social interdependence theory, has been popularly implemented in various settings of small group function in school education and business. The applied strategies of CL in academic settings especially in the field of Second Language (L2) have been valued regarding the effects on Second Language Acquisition (SLA) and learning achievement. This industry-university collaboration for developing teaching materials plans to adopt creative CL designs as examining CL outcome in L2 performance among learners in bilingualsettings. The value of such a university-industry case for developing creative and cooperative learning materials in English language is to provide more creative perspectives on language teaching in bilingual settings. An exploration of creative thinking in CL, content-based, task-based, language integrated-skill instruction as well as learning achievementin academic performance isrevealed when observing in the cognitive-developmental aspects and the applied sociolinguistic context.
