In the article,two major organizational structures，bureaucracy and matrix organization,were compared. The contain includes the characteristics of two stures，the difference of their lines of commuination，the difference of the two structures. Base on this comparison，matrix structure is more complication than bureaucracy.And in thus everchanging society，we need more flexibe，efficient，and multi-disciplinary cooperation to deliver the best health care to people. Therefore,the differences of the two structures should be known by health care providers.
