The study investigated the effect of native English-speaking teachers on students’ speaking achievements. The study chose 60 points as the minimum acceptable quality score. The findings revealed that 23% students in the study received their scores as fail. 59% of those surveyed felt that native speaker teachers lead would lead to better word choice and pronunciation improvements. 56% of the students were motivated in learning. The students with higher test scores had better confidence in word choices than in speaking skills while the students with lower test scores were more willing to speak in public without hesitation and resulted in better speaking improvements. The results showed that the students who were exposed to native speaker teacher had more positive attitudes toward speaking in public and better improvements in speaking skills. The study suggested the effect of native English speaking teachers created a better learning environment for native language learning with more accurate uses of target language.
