Abstract: Thus paper a hybrid model to determining basketball defense types with grey type
Analysis and fuzzy expert system .We first use the grey analyses to determine the term type where the basketball statistic iterms are used as the attributes of the grey analyses. The result of grey analyses are then fed into the fuzzy expert system. In
this syudy, the outputs of the grey analyses areobtained from. The recommendations of defense types are automatically generated by the proposed model. The defense types involved in this paper include 2-1-2,2-3,1-3-1,1-2-2,3-2 and man-to –man.Wealsoconucted an experiment to validate the propose system Experimental results also show that it is possible to build a fuzzy-expert-based decision support system together with grey analysis for basketball coaches to help them make their defense decisions.
